Weather Conditions: Fine. Light white cloud

Description: Heard a noise first, thought it was a plane. The noise then got much louder than a plane and lasted several times longer than you would expect a plane to last. Then I saw it. A saucer shaped object in the sky. It was there. I saw it. Moving slowly at first and then it shot off high in the sky at speed I have never seen before. Probably around 10 times faster than a aircraft. It was totally visible for around 15 seconds and I saw it. I disappeared at speed high up into the sky and beyond the clouds. I have never experienced anything like this before but it was saucer shaped, fast and it was there. I saw it.
