Weather Conditions: Dry, warm and cloud cover.

Description: Walking along southend seafront and whilst looking over to the Kent coast saw a fire orange glowing light slowly moving south eastwards towards Kent. It was several hundred feet up, completely silent and the light was constant and did not flicker. Watched it for around four minutes before it grew fainter and finally disappeared as it headed over south easterly over to Kent. It seemed too big and high for one of these lanterns, and the light was totally constant. My mum saw a similar thing in Southend approximately seven weeks ago.
