Shape of objects: Round

Weather Conditions: Cloudy so no stars, but dry

Description: At first there was only about three red round balls that were slowly hovering in a triangle shape they then started moving from right to left across the sky..then at least eight more appeared all in formation. They then all moved across the sky and started disappearing one by one.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John,

I checked the lantern website and i can't really be sure...all I can say is that the lights appeared quite high over a field near my house....and they didn't appear to rise from the ground like you would expect a Chinese lantern to.
