Weather Conditions: Cloudy

Description: Mother in law rang at 8.45pm from her mobile saying she was watching a glowing bright light over the local park which moved horizontally and then stopped. A smaller bright, object then appeared to drop from the object at which point the glowing sphere continued to move on again before stopping again, at this point the glowing sphere disappeared. I came out and met my mother in law near the park, she was visibly shaking and upset about the sighting. Can anyone else verify if they saw this same object?
