Weather Conditions: Not windy at all just cold

Description: Driving home from work on Lytham Green with girlfriend and spotted an object when we was quite far back that was flashing like a plane when it's wings flash except we were getting closer to it? we got closer and realised this round metallic flashing object was completely still just hovering to the left of us by about 35 metres and above us by about 50 meters. it was very bright so couldn't see much and we were driving past but it definitely was metallic and round and completely still...it wasn't even moving and inch left or right. Lytham Green is a busy road at this time as it's the rush hour...more cars were slowing down behind us as well to get a glimpse, but not all?? People were walking there dogs on the green as well but they never even noticed it???? Maybe only certain people could see it? I don`t know? Very strange though. The object was about 10 metres in diameter.
