Shape of objects: Round orange

Weather Conditions: Clear skys no wind

Description: A solid round orange light slowly appeared in the sky from behind the houses, there was no noise, it stopped and hovered then a second appeared and got close to it, they then both started to flicker and go duller. They remained stationary for about a minute and then the second light quickly left our view behind the houses then the first one did the same. We went to the back of the houses and they were no where to be seen despite having quite a good open view of the sky.

This happened about a month ago where me and a friend saw the same thing except it flashed then fizzed out in the sky and disappeared.
