Description: Description: Heading South to North in the direction of Thorne.

Altitude: Estimated - 200-300ft
Size: Estimated - 30ft across
Speed: Estimated at 100 - 150mph

The sphere of light was dull yellow in colour and glowing. It moved across the sky just under the clouds before disappearing into a cloud but did not reappear at the clouds edge and I can only assume that it ascended. No other shape to the object identified. Definitely not an aircraft taking off or about to land at Doncaster Airport. There were no white flashing hazard or red and green wing tip lights.
