Weather Conditions: Clear and bright

Description: Whilst driving from Berry Pomeroy to Maldon I saw off to my right on the hilly horizon the other side of the River Dart arced light in the sky. The red colour was like the strong pinky/red colour of a Swan Vesta match-head. I saw the light intermitantly through trees/hedges/walls/farm gates for 5 or 10 minutes the light seemed to keep pace with me and to be following the hill contours drivers window open so not reflection from car dash.
