Description: I was only twelve years old but I remember it like it was yesterday. It had just gone dark and I was on my way into my house on Whitehall St, these were terraced houses which faced Rochdale Infirmary. I was just about to open my front door when I heard a quiet humming sound. I dont know why, but I looked directly up. At that split second a bright white silver disc shaped object flew right over my house. When I looked toward the Infirmary, towards where it was heading it was gone!

It was travelling at such speed that I could hear the wind swooshing, but no engine, jet or anything powering it could be heard.

Because of the speed it blurry, but even now the sighting is as clear as day in my mind. I have only told a handful of people about this, but have really never heard of sightings like the one I had.
