Long Flat Cylinder Shaped Object Observed From Harold Hill

Date: Approx. 1990-92
Time: Afternoon ?

Location of Sighting: I was in Harold Hill but object appeared to be many miles away to north.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1

Shape of objects: Long flat cylinder shape with what look like a sail that was a tall as object was long. The sail shape was in opposition to the direction it was traveling.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was Standing on balcony of my second floor flat when I spotted the object moving very slowly at a an apparent low level. It never altered in height, rotated or turned. The outline image never altered. I watched for an age and called my girlfriend but she was uninterested. It was long ago so I don't recall it going out of sight. It took so long to travel across the sky I think I just lost interest.
