New UFOs Over Crimea, Ukraine: August 2005

I want to report about the number of UFO sightings that continue over Crimean peninsula in the southern Ukraine.

On Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at approximately 02:45-02:50 AM, and on Friday, August 12, 2005, at 02:42-02:43 AM- while standing on a hill of Kanaka gully (in a small hamlet between Alushta and Sudak on the southern coast of Crimea near the Black Sea, in a middle between villages Rybach'ye and Privetnoye) - I saw the unidentified flying objects (or probably that was the same object) in southeastern part of the sky. The object developed itself by the bright flash of yellow light. The flash was remarkably bright. Then, in 5-6 seconds, the second flash has occurred, and in another 5 or 6 seconds - the third. The object in both cases was definitely moving to east-southeast. After 3 flashes of bright yellow-whitish light, I saw no more flashes. That is impossible in case of any airplane, even on the high altitude: I saw numerous aircrafts passing overhead along the Alushta incoming air corridor towards Simferopol' airport and backward - every airplane blinks by its navigational lights in even intervals (usually 2 lights are visible from the distance: red and white). But in this case the intervals were pretty big! And flashes were remarkably bright! Besides, I heard absolutely no any sound of airplane during that quiet night. In about half an hour after UFO of that night of August 12, I clearly saw the regular airplane with red blinking light and heard its sound, so I can well compare that UFO with any airplane and satellite. More to that, the flash occurred right in the middle of the night sky - I didn't see any airplane's lights approaching.

That wasn't any satellite for sure too: I am experienced observer of satellites, meteors and aircrafts, and satellites are usually clearly visible constant sources of light (even dim small light) that can change the intensiveness of reflected light, but never flash from nothing, and then flash again with such long intervals.
I also saw numerous meteors from Perseids stream, the sky was abundant in meteors in these August's days: nothing to do with meteors.
Also on August 12, 2005, at 21:40 I saw the very bright red-yellowish flash of light under Ursa Major (Big Dipper) constellation: hardly that was a meteor, without any tail, very unlike dozens of the other meteors I saw.
Other witnesses reported that they saw rather spectacular UFO at that place in October-November of 1990 at about 11 PM: the bright flying ball of light with complicated, structured tail. Unlike any bolide or meteor, the object flew horizontally, evidently in controlled flight, from the side of Black Sea towards Karabi -Yai'la mountainous plateau and disappeared from sight. Local shepherd Nikolay Obornev and hunter Valeriy Nikolayev, frequently visiting that plateau and its foot, also reported amazing close UFO encounters with "the massive bodies consisting of light".

On Saturday's evening, August 13, 2005, the famous Crimean town Yalta celebrated its 167th birthday, and as we detected for every year, UFOs appeared again at that night over nearby Crimean mountains, clearly visible as the bright sources of whitish and white-bluish light, fast zooming upward and than vanishing from sight. Amazingly, UFOs appear every August soon after Yalta's Day of the Town celebrations occurs with massive fireworks in Yalta near the Black Sea. That apparently attracts UFOs. (For sure, we can't take simple fireworks for UFOs).

Sincerely Yours,
The first-hand witness
