UFO SIGHTING REPORT
FIVE MILES NORTH OF VISALIA
CALIFORNIA

Location: Approx. five miles North of Visalia, Ca., USA
Date: Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, approx. 8:30pm, local time
Approach Direction: From the East
Departure Direction: to the West
Witness Direction: South
Description: Slow moving group of approx. twelve red lights, alternately flashing at about two second intervals, in a rough, elongated, triangular pattern, three lights being brighter than the others. Moved slowly and steadily across the sky E. to W. at approx. 20 to 25 degrees off the horizon. Took about two minutes to go across the sky and out of site. Absolutely no sound.
I believe it was also the same night as a rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB.
This was the third time I have seen these in my area, in four years of living out here. The other two times, they were seen to the North, travelling West to East.

Color/Shape: Red, flashing, about a dozen, grouped in a rough, elongated, triangular shape
Height & Speed: Height, about 20 to 25 degrees off the horizon, looked like a couple miles to the South, but hard to judge. Disappeared in about two minutes, steady speed.
TV/Radio/Press: Haven't heard anything from media. Found one other observer in Visalia city limits who saw them to their North.
