UFO SIGHTING REPORT

Departure Direction: west

Witness Direction: west

Description: i saw what looked like a small compact constellation of lights(Maybe 8-10) move in unison from east to west. They were syncronized as some of them left the formation dropped back into the formation in the back.

Color/Shape: white lights in unison

Height & Speed: 15-20 k feet

entire event 4-5 seconds, was also seen by another member of our party.

TV/Radio/Press: I did not report it.

Follow-up from Brian Vike:

Direction: They came across the sky east to west with about 8 lights in total, in formation, then the front two peeled of to the side briefly and then fell back into the formation.

no tail on the formation

no change of color, other than the entire area in the compact formation seemed to have a unified glow/aura to it, just a bit lighter.

We were in charleston and it was a very clear night so aircraft was viable from time to time. There is a large military base just nw of charlerston.

The weather was 55 degrees and very clear. I;ll get the other person to contact you.

One question... were there others that reported sightings in Charleston that night?
