Full Description of event/sighting: We were at University and County Line Rd. driving north on University. The object came straight down in front of us nearly hitting the ground. It was a bright white ball of light that had a short dark green/blue tail. As best as I can estimate it approached maybe 30 or 40 feet above the street and then disappeared. It looked like someone turned off light, it did not pulse or dim before going out, it did not light up anything that was surrounding it. It disappeared, it did not look like any comet/shooting star that I have ever seen. It is difficult to say how far away it was but it was from us but it was close, before it disappeared I was bracing myself for the impact. It was moving very fast, faster that freefall. It's hard to say how big it was but it looked significant, looking through the windshield it was absolutely impossible to miss. There were 4 of us driving in 3 cars, everyone saw it. There was nobody else on the road that we could see. It appeared to be coming straight down but it is possible that it was traveling in an arc, or a nose dive. Please let me know if anyone else saw this.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
