Location: New Orleans La. USA Directly above my place of employment.
Date: January 3, 2005 12:30 - 1 pm Central Standard Time
Approach Direction: SE seemed to be from the direction of the lakefront airport in New Orleans
Departure Direction: NW
Witness Direction: SE
Description: It appeared to be large black spheres.I could hear what sounded like an engine but saw no way for propulsion. There were at least 6 of them flying lower than the clouds but a little higher than the high flying birds. It was very strange to see them fly so slow. One was so slow it appeared to be stationary.I have never seen anything like it. Could it be something from military?
Color/Shape: Black sphere
Height & Speed: lower than the clouds { hard for me to judge distance } Flying very slow. Slower than a helicopter.
