February 5th 2005

UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Desert Hot Springs, Ca. USA

Date: 02/05/05 about 1:am local time

Approach Direction: from the west

Departure Direction: to the east

Witness Direction: south

Description: to dark out to see any shape, it was at about 8,000 ft or less. moving slower than an airliner but sounded a lot like one. Had a long role of very brite lights along the 'side' and three (3) large and also very brite landing type lights to the rear on the same level as the 'side' lights. The 3 lights to the rear were spaced and the outer 2 were maybe as far apart as the 'side' light role was long, could have been farther apart than the role was long. Also the three lights were aimed back in the direction the (whatever) had come from. The mountains in the area from where it came from are from 9,000 to almost 12,000 feet, I am sure it was a lot lower than that. Don't know what it was, but have never seen an airliner with 3 landing lights let alone pointed back.

Color/Shape: To dark outside and it's lights were to brite to see any shape.

Height & Speed: about 7 to 8,000 feet and maybe 80 MPH

TV/Radio/Press: did not hear any reports
