Approach Direction: From the West, coming from the town of Felix and Copperopolis

Departure Direction: disappeared into thin air

Witness Direction: west

Description: For the past year, we have been noticing an odd red, ble, and orange ball of light that seems to hover over the hills from a distance of 5, maybe 6, miles away. It moves from side to side, and sometimes bobs up and down. I have maybe seen this object a dozen times now. It always seems to appear from the same direction, but I have dismissed the idea of it being a star, planet, or radar helicopter. It's movements are far too sporadic to be any of these. Sometimes it just sits there, sometimes it provides lots of movement.

Color/Shape: Red, Blue, Orange

Height & Speed: It seems to be too far for me to judge the size of the object. But from the distance of this object, I would guess approximately 20 to 30 feet in diameter.
