UFO SIGHTING REPORTMartinsville, IndianaOctober 6th 2005UFOINFO Sighting Form Report Location: Martinsville, Indiana. USA Date: 10/06/2005 Approach Direction: North Departure Direction: Towards the ground behind a hill and tree line. Witness Direction: north Description: First appeared as two fire ball just above a hill. Then the two split into four smaller balls of fire. Then seconds later four more appeared directly to the west. They hovered above the tree line for about 2 mins. then slowly sank behind the hill. They were extremly bright orange and let off a orange hue in the sky around them. It was about 7:30 pm and had just gotten dark. Color/Shape: Round bright orange fire balls. Follow-up information from Brian Vike: Hello. Thank you for your reply. Let me start by telling you a little about myself and my actions during that evening. I am a 29 year of mother of four. I am a stay at home mom. My oldest child is in the first grade. We live in a rural lake community and have a very typical all American family. Right down to the golden retriever in the yard. I am a volunteer at my sons elementary school. As far as the night of the sighting, I had just been to pick up some take out for dinner. I always take the country roads home because it is the same distance and I prefer not to deal with highway traffic if I don't have to. As to your questions, the weather was somewhat cloudy and cool. I remember it was a little windy that evening. As to direction and wind speed I am not sure. But it wasn't heavy winds by no means. The landscape is somewhat rural. The area is as follows, There is a large corn field in front of the hills. There is a house in the middle of the field. An elementary school to the SE of the field and a house to the W. Now there are no houses on the hill itself but directly behind there are and there are houses to the W. of the hills. There are No airports, military bases etc. The nearest airport is about 50 miles to the north and there is a military training facility about 80 miles to the southeast. I didn't see any smoke or jet streams. There was no tail. I don't think it was any kind of flares. The best way I can describe it is that my first thought was, Wow those airplanes are low and awful close to one another. Then I realized they could not be airplanes. The light was more of an orange in color like fire. And the size was bigger than what you would see from an airplane even one that is approaching you. I can tell you that I was physically shaken. I have a friend that lives to the east of the hills and I tried to get my cell phone out of my purse to call her. I thought if she walked out of her front door she would be able to see what I was seeing. I pulled off of the side of the road, looked at the lights and tried to retrieve my cell from my purse. By the time I got it out and dialed they had already sank behind the hill. I went ahead with the call and of course she thought I was nuts until I hung up on her for making fun of me. She then knew I was serious. I have no idea what it was that I saw, but I can tell you this I have never seen anything like it in my life. Not even in movies.
