UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: 4 miles east of Catoosa, Oklahoma.

Date: 01/15/2006 14:45 central time.

Approach Direction: north

Departure Direction: south

Witness Direction: south and west

Description: It has been very warm in Oklahoma for this time of the year. The weather was clear and sunny with a strong warm wind from the south with some high clouds. My father and I were setting outside talking when I noticed a small silver oval object aproaching from the North. At first I thought it was a silver ballon but was moving too fast and too high. Also the wind was blowing 10 to 15 mph from the south. I pointed it out to my father, we both watched it pass overhead rather fast and at several thousand feet untill it disappeared to the south. We noticed that there were no sounds like jet or prop noises. Also we were both amazed by all the con-trails from jets that day and that is what caused me to notice the object to begin with.

Color/Shape: very bright silver, oval shape. Flat on the bottom and round on top.

Height & Speed: two to three thousand feet. Speed not sure but went across a clear sunny sky from north to south in a minute or less.

TV/Radio/Press: no reporting that I know of.
