Orange, Orange County, California

February 2006

UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Orange, Ca, not sure of the date, didn't even think of reporting it anywhere, until my friend in Texas said she saw the same thing just night before last, which would have been March 9,2006 [See report for March 6th]... we saw it just a few weeks ago. I'm sorry I don't have the date, it was sometime last month, just after dark.

Date: February, 2006

Approach Direction: We were in Orange, Ca., facing east, so it appeared to be just over Tustin CA to us

Departure Direction: just after dark, it just seemed to be hovering, going Slightly south

Witness Direction: we were facing East

Description: Lime green, kind of milky... transparentish... shaped like a football, I dismissed it as a Blimp, but I've never seen one that looked like that before... the kids were outside and saw it, and my son came in screaming, "Mom, there's a UFO outside, come and look!"... so of course I did. In all my years of living near Air Force Bases, including Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, and Edwards here in California, I Must say, I've never seen anything like it!

Color/Shape: Light green, kind of transparent, shaped like a football, just hovering in the sky, moving slightly south... we were looking at it from the west, facing east

Height & Speed: not sure, but not too high up, approxamitly helicopter height.... moving barely at all, more light hovering and drifting slightly south

TV/Radio/Press: not that I'm aware of

Hello Brian, We are more than happy to answer your questions, here they are, first set is my 9 year old son's, the next are mine, and the last are our 9 year old neighbors. Hope they help, I've also been trying to get a hold of my friend in Texas, I'm sure she will be happy to answer them also!

Witness #1 - Ladies 9 year old son.

Q. - These are my son's answers. Can you please tell me what the weather conditions were at the time of the sighting ?
A. - Clear night sky, just after dark.

Q. - Was it windy at all, and if so, was the object flying with the wind, or going against it ?
A. - No

Q. - As the UFO moved? How far and how fast?
A. - Practically still, just hovering... but moving slightly south.

Q. - Describe its movements in detail please ?
A. - What startled us the most is that it was just sitting there in the sky, barely moving at all.

Q. - How long were you able to observe it for, from when you first saw it, until it was gone ?
A. - Approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Q. - Was any sound heard ?
A. - No sound.

Q. - Roughly, how far away was the object from your location ?
A. - Not sure, would say a few miles, not very high either... like helicopter high, not airplane high

Q. - Were you able to see any fins, wings, or anything of this sort on the object ?
A. - No just shaped like a football.

Q. - Besides the color of the object, were you able to observe any lights on it, if so what color would they have been, and were any of them blinking or flashing at all ?
A. - Two ovals of lights like dots and a big light in the middle

Q. - Was the entire object lit up with this Lime green color ? Or could you try your best to describe what parts were lit up with this color, and if there were any part of the object darkened out ?
A. - Pretty much the whole thing was colored in the lime green, no other colors, but it looked dark in some spots.

Q. - Last one, would it be possible for you to draw up a rough diagram of the object, and send it to me at hbccufo@telus.net Boy I would be certainly interested in seeing exactly what you saw, as it is an interesting sighting.
A. - We could send the pictures to you via the post office, don't know how to do it on the computer.

Q. - And this would also be, Orange "County", Ca. Just making sure. -:))
A. - Yes, it's the city of Orange in Orange County, Ca.

Witness #2 - The lady (mothers) report below:

Q. - Can you please tell me what the weather conditions were at the time of the sighting ?
A. - It was a clear night, just after dark, approximately 7:00 p.m. or there abouts.

Q. - Was it windy at all, and if so, was the object flying with the wind, or going against it ?
A. - I don't recall any wind that night, but it was chilly, and the weather did not seem to be affecting it at all... it was just like sitting there, barely moving South, but hardly noticeable... we went to try and go where it was, but when we went under a bridge and came back out we could no longer find it.

Q. - As the UFO moved? How far and how fast? Describe its movements in detail please ?
A. - It didn't really seem to be moving, just hovering.

Q. - How long were you able to observe it for, from when you first saw it, until it was gone ?
A. - The kids saw it before I did, but I observed it for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

Q. - Was any sound heard ?
A. - I heard no sound, but it was pretty far away... like a couple of miles away.

Q. - Roughly, how far away was the object from your location ?
A. - Like I said before, it appeared to be a few miles east of us.

Q. - Were you able to see any fins, wings, or anything of this sort on the object ?
A. - No, it was just shaped like a football is the best description I can give... I transparentish lime green football... kind of like a nerf football glowing in the sky.

Q. - Besides the color of the object, were you able to observe any lights on it, if so what color would they have been, and were any of them blinking or flashing at all ?
A. - I did not observe any lights except the lime green glow, but I don't have that great of eye sight anymore.

Q. - Was the entire object lit up with this Lime green color ?
A. - Yes

Q. - Or could you try your best to describe what parts were lit up with this color, and if there were any part of the object darkened out ?
A. - I did not notice any parts darkened out, but it did appear almost transparent is the best way I can describe it. The whole thing looked lit up to me, but not to the kids.

Witness #3 - Neighbors 9 year old boy son.

Now here are the answers from my son's friend.

Q. - Can you please tell me what the weather conditions were at the time of the sighting ?
A. - Kinda cold but clear, no clouds.

Q. - Was it windy at all, and if so, was the object flying with the wind, or going against it ?
A. - Kinda windy, no it did not look like the wind was pushing it.

Q. - As the UFO moved? How far and how fast?
A. - It was moving but Very slowly

Q. - Describe its movements in detail please ?
A. - Just slowly, kinda just sitting there mostly.

Q. - How long were you able to observe it for, from when you first saw it, until it was gone ?
A. - About 10 minutes

Q. - Was any sound heard ?
A. - No

Q. - Roughly, how far away was the object from your location ?
A. - Around like about 20 or 30 miles.

Q. - Were you able to see any fins, wings, or anything of this sort on the object ?
A. - No, just lights.

Q. - Besides the color of the object, were you able to observe any lights on it, if so what color would they have been, and were any of them blinking or flashing at all ?
A. - Yes, there lights... kind of yellowish, greenish... none were blinking or flashing.

Q. - Was the entire object lit up with this Lime green color ?
A. - Not entirely.

Q. - Or could you try your best to describe what parts were lit up with this color, and if there were any part of the object darkened out ?
A. - The outside rim had lights, it was not darkened out.
