February 12th 2006

UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Mission Viejo, Calif. USA

Date: Feb. 12, 2006 at approximatley 7:30 PM

Approach Direction: They looked like they were moving to the north but slowly.

Departure Direction: None

Witness Direction: Facing south

Description: I was traveling east on Los Aliso's Blvd when I noticed lights from a plane (I thought) to the south of me. As I watched I noticed that the object did not appear to be moving or moving slowly. Then I noticed it was circular with lights circling it. Then I noticed another object just like it flying close to it. I was spell bound and had actually stopped in the middle of the road to watch it and try and figure out what they were. I finally had to move on before traffic caught up to me. I see that others saw a strange sighting of two similar objects the same night not far from this location in Aliso Viejo.

Color/Shape: Circular with lights circling

Height & Speed: They did not apear to be very high in the sky.

TV/Radio/Press: Not that I am aware

Additional Information from Brian Vike:

The weather was clear and I observed it for about 2 minutes. Basically it appeared perfectly circular. I could not hear any sound. I couldn't really see the outline of the object. Just a circular ring of lights. I first just assumed it was an airplane until I got closer and saw all the lights around it in a circular pattern. Certainly not in airplane fashion. We are by the abandoned El Toro Marine base and John Wayne Airport is about 10 miles away. I think I remember the lights as being blue and white. Like I said I couldn't actually see the craft itself as it was night time. I saw two of these together. No other craft in the area. That's about all the detail I can give Brian.
