Description: At 11:16pm, both my mother and I noticed a large pulsating light that was flashing very brightly to the South of our home. Immediately, I went to my bedroom window facing the west to see if the same light I have been seeing was there. It was! My mother is in a wheelchair and has not witnessed this light to the west before, so I immediately took her to my room and walked her to my window. She confirmed what I have been seeing. From the bedroom window it appeared as three lights, one large in the center, two smaller on either side, and completely stationary. It looked similar to a large plane coming down to about 1,000 to 2,000 ft high but not coming any closer. I then went outside with my camera to see if I could get a picture (it again seemed as if it were closer to the St. John's area). Upon looking at it with the naked eye, it appeared as one bright light. I tried to take two photos just now when it was out there, and I could only see a pin prick of a light on one, and nothing on the other. I just uploaded these to my computer, and zoomed in quite a bit. The first shows it as what appears to be two lights, the second as one large light to the right and a sort of trail of light to the left of it. At 11:29pm, it dimmed down to a very tiny pin prick of a light (naked eye view), then flashed back to a bright light, sat a few more seconds, then slowly dimmed down to nothing visible by the naked eye. I noted the time on my watch as I did when I first saw it, and came in with my camera. I will say that a neighbors dog to the west about 500 yards was barking like crazy until it disappeared.
Color/Shape: Color tonight was a bright white to the naked eye, but red in the photos. Shape from my bedroom window looked like three lights, small large small or oOo. Outside it appeared as one light. The last few times I have seen this, and the time I reported it to your site, it seemed to make very small and jagged motions before heading north and out of view. Tonight it stayed stationary and then dimmed out of sight in place.
Height & Speed: Height I would guess from my perspective to be 2,000-5,000 ft? Speed from my perspective would be 0, as it seemed to get no closer nor farther away. Departure was to the west and stationary when it left my view.
TV/Radio/Press: Nothing was reported.
