Number of witnesses: 1

Number of objects: 3 in one group and 4 or 5 in another

Shape of objects: Round

Weather Conditions: clear

Description: Looking west at about 45degrees I watched a light grow brighter ( I first thought it might be an iridium flare). but then another light appeared in a straight line ( west to east)from the first and then a third appeared. A few seconds later another set of 5 lights appeared one at a time from north to south in the wnw sky just to the North of the firsts lights They grew bright and then dimmed and disappeared within about 30 seconds The lights were a yellow-orange color.

TV/Radio I did not here or read anything in the news

I am reporting this now because I read about a sighting in Kokomo in 2006 : below

Southside Of Kokomo, Indiana Multiple Orange Lights
Date: March 21, 2006
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 6-7
Shape of objects: Orange Round Lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Approx: 21:30, I saw a row of bright orange round lights in the Western sky. The lights, when I first saw them, appeared to be connected as if it the lights were part of one object. Then, the lights moved independent of each other. This is the third time I have seen them over the past three years in the Kokomo area.

I think it might be flares from planes. They would have to have been two planes. Why would then be ejecting flares at right angles to each other?

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John, You can rule out lantern balloons. The lights I saw appeared one at a time out of nowhere about 45 degrees above the horizon in a stright line about a finger width apart at arms length and gradually became brighter and a little bigger than for instance the planet Venus.
