Brea, California UFOs Hovering - One Drops Downward (More Eyewitnesses)

Date: January 26, 2008
Time: 5:45 - 5:50 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Brea, Ca.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Bright white oval shape.

Full Description of event/sighting: My roommate and I were in the backyard, preparing for the wind and rain to come that night. I was in the garden area, when something very bright in the sky caught my eye. I looked up and saw two bright (white) oval objects hovering, along with what appeared to be a small plane staying with these two objects. The lower object all of a sudden just dropped into the shape of a meteor (with an extended tail), falling straight down! Almost immediately, it stopped falling and changed back to its oval shape again.

It was hard to grasp what I was seeing, so I ran over to where my roommate was and said..."What was that???", "What was that???...while I ran past her to the front yard. She then followed me out to the front, where the two objects continued displaying in almost in a stationary position, with just a slight movement, from side to side.

The one object on the right dropped into a meteor shape, quickly faded and was gone. A few seconds later, the object on the left dropped, tapered off, dropped again, and then quickly disappeared (even though from our vantage point we could have seen it drop down further).

We quickly ran into the house to turn on the news to see if a mid-air collision had just occurred between two planes, and nothing was ever reported.

It was the oddest thing, but quite interesting!

Thank you to the witness for relating a very interesting sighting.
