Weather Conditions: clear and sunny

Description: What appeared to be a daytime observation of venus (white point of light) was perceptibly traversing the sky from south to north for approximately one hour...a passing passenger jet at contrail altitude induced the object to change course to the southeast following the jet. The object then dissappeared.
