Description: I was closing the blinds in my kitchen window when I noticed a bright orange-like glow. I opened the blinds and saw in the backyard, near edge of a large ditch, a oval like blob that was glowing orange and seemed to be floating about 2 ft. above the grass. I was somewhat frightened, so I immediately closed the blinds and left the room.

The following Friday, my son (who's 5) and myself were looking out our backdoor at 4:30pm watching hundreds of little black birds. They looked like they were making shapes near the ground, it was neat to watch, when suddenly a bright orange burst of light with no sound appeared and the birds flew away so fast. There was no one around, and it was right near the bottom of the ditch. There's no explanation for that, that we could see. It was strange.
