Weather Conditions: Clear beautiful morning at dawn

Description: 7-9-09, 6:15 AM: While walking our dog. T*** saw: SW of our property, very large aluminum sphere with glowing white light, hole beneath, and blue light surrounding it. Saw it go straight up into sky from the edge of town to begin moving in a southeasterly direction.

G*** saw: Yellow ball of light just ending a vertical assent. Moved in a SE direction, did not move in a manner consistent with any know motorized aircraft or animal. Almost in a floating pattern, but not exactly like a balloon. Like a butterfly ..?
