Location: Amarillo Texas, Randall County - USA

Date: 10 17 2009

Time: 6:45 - 7:15pm

Number of witnesses: 2 Solid - multiple for initial siting

Number of objects: 2

Shape of objects: Diamond - pointing down (I am a former Military Intelligence/Aviation) It was NOT a Hot Air or Weather Balloon.

Weather Conditions: Clear - Sun was setting to the West.

Description: I was driving near my Home, heading West. Looking to the South I noticed what I thought was the moon. I took a second look and then thought it was a star. I then realized it was too big. I called my wife, she went outside and saw it as well. We used Binoculars and a camera to get pics. I ruled out Hot Air and Weather Balloon due to the internal lighting of the object. It was brilliant, clear, white light. This was about 6:45pm. I then continued on to the store about 5 miles from our home. I told the people inside - who immediately dismissed it as a weather balloon. Then one of the ladies said "Yes,I saw it last night".

OK - I was still convinced it was something explainable....then on my way home, heading South - a second light appeared near the first. They then took off at blazing speed toward space. As they got fainter - they appeared to get cloaser together (I know - it was an optical illusion) But....when they started criss-crossing....it was no- longer an optical illusion.

As I pulled into my driveway - my wife was standing outside - in awe. I asked her to describe what she saw - exact same thing I saw.

Yesterday - UFO people were Kooks....today - I am a believer.
