Description: I was going to bed with my girlfriend when I noticed an seemingly strange light in the middle of the window beside our bed. We live in a second story apartment and the object appeared about two feet above the horizon. At first I thought the light was probably a planet or really bright star but decided to watch it none the less. As I watched the object appeared to rock, or slide around in the sky. The motion was like nothing I've ever seen, I suspected my eyes were simply tricking me but gradually over a period of 40 min or so the object had moved from the middle of the window to the extreme right of the frame, eventually becoming completely obscured by the roofs overhang. The object maintained a constant hover for over an hour and a half while slowly covering a large portion of the night sky. Moreover it was very clearly in the lower atmosphere as it passed in front of the sparse but brightly illuminated clouds.

The second object I observed was seen forty to fifty minutes into the previous sighting. Suddenly I noticed a flash of reddish light reflecting on the clouds above and behind my vision. This lasted for only a fraction of a second before a saucer shaped craft swooped in from behind my vision. The upper part of the craft was visible only as a darker darkness but underneath was what appeared to be red lights arranged in a circle. I observed the object preform a gentle sloping left hand turn and accelerate out of sight. A feat which took less then five seconds. I then watched the first object until it became obscured by the roof. Stunned I rolled over so that I was facing or looking to the north instead of south. It was then that I saw another object which appeared indistinguishable from the first only it appeared to be significantly further away. As I continued to watch is strange, fluttering movements in the sky a fast approaching red, white light moved in, running east to west and seemingly underneath but very close to the object I was then observing. It continued moving extremely rapidly until it became obscured by the wall. Because of the bright conditions that night the dark, solid saucer shape to the craft was clearly distinguishable. The entire sighting lasted around two hours and was visible from various vantage points.
