Weather Conditions: Clear, few clouds, 45 degrees

Description: Originally believed to be waxing moon with small sliver in arc shape showing. It glowed bright orange. Was not high in the sky but above the horizon a bit. Moved down to the tree line and a little below then rose back up and a little to the left.

Sighting was in the west. Moved quickly and was seen for approximately 3-4 minutes but I am not sure how long it was there before we noticed. Then it dipped under the tree line lost brightness and we lost sight. It did not return.
