UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Dear Webmaster,

Hello just found your sight. Boy could have used it back in 1977. I saw a UFO in Oil City, Pa. around Jul-Aug of 77. I was at a friends house and he was talking on a CB radio. The person talking said there was object flying over Oil City. He told us where to look for it in the sky. So we went outside and looking where he said we found it. We decided to go to the highest elevation in Oil City. It was at the Vo-Tech High School. When we reached the parking lot to our surprise there where many other people already there watching this UFO. It was night time. About 7 or 8pm. It had a glow to it. Changing colors. It would zig zag thru the sky. It made no sound. The people there had the CB radio's on. It was reported that the Air Force from Pittsburgh had jets on the way to check out this UFO. We heard the jets comming and before the planes even got near the UFO it did another zig zag and it was gone. I am not the only one who saw this event that night in 77.

Follow-up Report from Brian Vike

Dear UFO Research,

It was at night and it was a clear night. It was seen in the North West sky overhead. It moved with accuracy and very quick. I estimate it moved 100 yards zig zaging...very quickly. Since it was night we could not make out any shape. It was giving off different colors and it made no sound. (red,blue,white) It was not near any bases or airports. It was over the city. (Oil City) The event lasted for about a half hour. Like I said I was not the only one who saw it that night in 1977. The name of the news paper up there is the Derrick and Newsherald (evening). They have a web-site www.derrick.com.
