UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Tequesta, Florida, USA
Sister and I: 9 yoa and 12 yoa
Parents went to Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre that night.

Date: 1980, early evening at dark, clear night

Approach Direction: North/moving southwest to South

Departure Direction: Tequesta location/heading back North

Witness Direction: North and upward

Description: Clouds seemed to be hazy and opened to bright light. Semi hovering noise in distance. Approximately minutes later, a red ball was seen hovering around our screened patio. Ran after it as it went through screen without damage and circled house and flew fast back into light came from sky and became dark.

Color/Shape: red ball/bright light in sky. Have heard of such things since then as balls of energy.

Height & Speed: bigger than a basketball/estimated time it took place:? All I know is that it was eery and my sister was terrified.

TV/Radio/Press: Called to planetarium with no other reports.
