I came across this article while trying to "discover" some evidence of UFOs that would explain the event that happened to me when I was a kid growing up in Littleton Colorado. To be quite honest, the first time I read this account above I got the chills. Although my account is a little different and from about 2 miles away I witness something, along with my parents that would dramatically change my life forever.
I distinctly remember that event. Here is my account:
My parents had just purchased a house on Peakview Drive in Littleton. We were in a convertible VW beetle visiting the new house towards the end of the day. I was facing West while on the corner of W. Peakview Ave and W. Peakview Circle. The time was just at sunset, early dusk. Because the convertible top was down we could see the sky. Directly above us was a luminous point of light that resembled a star only it was about 10 times brighter and larger than any star I had ever seen. We first thought it may be a helicopter, but it made no sound. It was impossible to determine the distance from us but I would approximate it to be 1/4-1/2 mile away. Silent, white, glowing. We stared at it for quite a while and kept asking each other what it may be. After no more than two or three minutes, the object accelerated and reached an amazing velocity heading south-west. Traveling a number of miles in less than couple of seconds. The object stopped again. Paused for about half a second, changed directions and headed north-west toward the Rocky Mountains. The object traveled again in an abrupt manner, roughly 5 miles in a few seconds, stopped again. Than immediately shot up through the sky. The entire "movement" event only lasted a matter of seconds. But as I stated before, this event changed my life forever. Since that day, I have been looking for another event or evidence of something like it. When I questioned my dad about it, he told me when I got older I needed to join the CIA or the military to discover the truth. Unfortunately/fortunately for me, my curiosity got the best of me. I started studying books on space, the stars, ufos, etc. Eventually, I would study Physics in College and obtain a degree in Physics with an emphasis on Astronomy, Philosophy and Mathematics.
I can say this with conviction. To this day I cannot account any terrestrial explanation for what I saw that pre-evening in Colorado. The physics of such an object in relevance to what is currently known or taught cannot explain the rapid accelerations that I saw. We are talking about zero to a miles per second with little or no hesitation, zig zag turning on a dime then changing velocity. Silent, beautiful, unexplainable. The only explanation I have is that it was not from this world. Perhaps nothing living was on board so that the accelerations would not negatively effect the occupants? Perhaps they have some kind of "gravitational faraday cage" which renders the inside of the craft immune to outside accelerative forces? Perhaps they have a different time frame of reference where we see something happen over a period of seconds, where their experience is that of minutes or hours? What ever the case I keep looking up, but have not seen anything quite like that since. I certainly hope I do see one again, better yet, I would love to speak to the intelligent beings that created them, human or otherwise...it was brilliant!
