Weather Conditions: Clear sky

Description: I was looking out my bedroom window hoping to see the tanks on Ft Drum shooting up flares, when I saw a yellow glowing round object moving at an incredible rate of speed heading toward my house. It stopped about one hundred yards away, went vertical and continued over my house. I heard no engine and when I ran to another window to see if I could find it in the sky nothing was there.

I am not one hundred percent about the exact day and year it could have been Jan of 86 or 87 but I know what I saw was probably not anything military. I heard on the radio the following morning about people reporting a yellow red and I think green ufos, the direction being across New York into Canada. I told my parents what I saw and heard but they didn't pay much attention.

I would like to know if there is any more information on what I saw that has been documented because I haven't found anything.
