UFO SIGHTING REPORTGalt, CaliforniaDecember 12th 1990UFOINFO Sighting Form Report Location: Galt, California (Northern California) Date: 12/12/90 11:00 p.m. Approach Direction: west Departure Direction: west Witness Direction: west Description: I can't recall the exact date, but am certain of the time and coldness. I was driving home from a friends house on Collier Road, heading west. I noticed a glowing light just above this grove of trees on the south side of Collier Rd. I was not driving fast because I had hit a animal on this route before, so I was careful. As I drove closer to the grove of trees, the light seemed to dip in and out of the trees. It was extremely bright because I had been watching it for over a mile. I slowed even more wondering what it was..curiosity. As I passed the small grove, an open pasture full of cows was adjacent to the grove of pine trees. There was a cylinder object hovering over the pasture with bright lights circling the base of it. I stopped the car, rolled down the window in disbeliefe. There was no engine sound, just a low humming noise. I opened the car door (crazy, I know). There were no cars coming either direction, so I stepped out of my car to get a better look. As I got to the edge of the asphalt pavement, the object zoomed straight up,and then headed west leaving a light blurr. I was standing in the middle of this country road, wondering what I had just seen... Color/Shape: metallic shiny, cigar shape, lights rotating at the base of the object. Height & Speed: Hovering Height: 50 feet of ground
