Description: It was a lovely summer night and was walking home around 10pm from a friends house. As I was passing a restaurant that was closed up since the owner just committed suicide. It was called the Boondocks. I heard a most unusual sound...first it was a metallic humming, coming from above so I looked up and sitting there seemingly motionless floating, was five large square yellowish lights in a row, and at the time it reminded me of as if the ferry was hovering in the sky. The humming turned to a horrible screeching but also pulsing, and the lights merged to one. The light became bright white, as if I was looking into to sun, actually it seem brighter than the sun. As the noise grew louder and the lights merged I felt a huge sense of panic, and turned away part in pain, & part fear, looking toward the restaurant that was behind me. Everything was clearly illuminated, the Boondocks, the trees, the four small homes nearby, even the creek off in the distance. I immediately decided to hide, so I jump over a small fence of the outdoor patio of what was the Boondocks, covering my ears for the sound became so painfully deafening I thought my head was about to explode. I stayed huddled up against the fence for sometime, holding on to my head, but tried to listen and remain silent and motionless, as the light and noise began to die off, I glance through a slit in the fence, the lights turn back yellow into five neat side by side squares, and the gentle yet metallic humming returned. Then the lights shot through the sky like a comet, and all was back to normal. No abnormal lights (other than the flash burn), no abnormal sounds (other then my heart rate), actually it seem too quite, both in sound and motion. As the world was standing utterly still...So I decided to put it in motion and ran as fast as I could home...haven’t heard or seen anything quite like that before or since, and hope I don’t, for as I said it hurt!
