Location: Barnwell South Carolina,USA

Date: 08/20/1996 eastern standard 10:00pm

Approach Direction: NW to SE

Departure Direction: SE

Witness Direction: NW

Description: I was 16 at the time and was camping in the yard w/ my 2 younger brothers.We noticed a white light on the horizon.We really paid it little mind because there is a small(very small) airport about 1 mile away.A few minutes went by,maby 20, and we took notice of this "light" again.A little closer now id say 3/4 of a mile away at this point.The object stayed its course which eventually put it over the top of my back yard!i ran inside and got my mom and dad.after seeing the object,they had no explanation for it.i remember thinking "how is that thing staying in the air?its moving to slow

Color/Shape: A black triangle and as big as my yard it looked thin. very big.no engine sound ,but i got this weird feeling as it past overhead.almost like you could feel the weight of the object.

Height & Speed: 1 maby 2 mph at a ht of 100ft approch same for departure
