As a result, much of the investigative data we collected is of little use to researchers. We now know that the investigation must be done in a conscientious manner, before counseling and therapy, avoiding leading questions and the use of imagery. This requires special training. CEA:ITC attempts to standardize Close Encounter Analysis so that the investigation will benefit the client as well as benefiting society at large. CEA:ITC is a diploma course for therapists certified in hypnosis and a certification course for all other students. Non-hypnotic methods of investigation are fully covered. As an e-book, CEA:ITC is to be done at home, using a computer to read the course and respond to the review questions and assignments, along with reading a variety of required books.
