Hi there everyone,

Sorry for the delay in getting this newsletter out to you, but I had my PC invaded by a bug and it really screwed me up. I found out I had a bug last Tuesday and decided to stay off line to keep everyone else safe. However, during the short process of myself becoming aware of the bug, my PC did send out an unknown small quantity of e-mails. The bug was a 'worm' that sends it's self out as an e-mail to other PC's. I first became aware of it when collecting e-mails and I had 3 incoming 'unknown addresses', when I clicked to send & receive again, I instantly had six more 'unknown addresses' coming back to me. There was no trace of the e-mail leaving my PC and it was obvious that something was wrong, so I stayed off line. In the meantime, I had to wait until the weekend for a good friend of mine to come and deal with the little critter. The bug has been totally 'exorcised' and my PC is now clean again. I have a good idea where the bug came from and it was no-one from our UFO community.

In the meantime, I have to prepare for a lecture at the end of this month so it'll be a while for the next issue to be sent out. I think the next issue will be either the first or second week in July. In the meantime, please be aware that I will NEVER send out any e-mails with attachments and I certainly WILL NOT open any e-mails with attachments from now onwards.

In the meantime, the information in this newsletter is now probably old news to some of you and I apologise for that. If you have received a bug from me, please except my sincere apologies.

Another cow turned up dead in a very strange way in a field of the General Acha region. As in previous cases, the animal was bloodless and was missing some organs. No traces were found in the place and the causes of these deaths remain a source of mystery to investigators. During the recent discovery, despite the fact that the animal had been dead for days in the outdoors, it had not yet putrefied.

Mystery struck once more in a local field: the latest event occurred in the "El Huitrú" farm some 70 km. from this city near provincial highways 115 and 18, where a dead cow was found with characteristics similar to the first two. It was bloodless and was missing an eye, jaw and tongue. The strange part of the case is that authorities were unable to find an perpetrator for the crime committed at rural lot 16, section 9, of the Utracan department.

In a conversation with this newsroom, the main official of the local town hall, Roque Ceferino Estepa, reported that the cattleman claimed that between 18:00 hrs of the 14th and 17:00 hrs. of the 15th of May, he had found one of his Aberdeen Angus cows approximately 3 years old and weighing 450 kilograms--mutilated by persons unknown. Cattleman Dario Garcia alleged that the cow had been found completely exsanguinated, without a tongue and missing a left ear, jaw, an eye, its udders and vital organs.

He further opined that in spite of the incisions made with sharp hot objects, given that the animal's fat was still warm, there were no traces of blood on the spot. Police elements under the command of Officer Lucero established themselves in the field together with veterinarian Juan Manuel Orterdag, who analysed the strange death.

Instructional and Correctional Court No. 1 of General Acha, presided by Judge Manuel Alvarez, has intervened in the matter. This is the third animal to have been found mutilated in similar circumstances, which places a shroud of mystery over the police investigation. The same happened only a few days ago at a ranch in the vicinity of Salliquelo, where police investigation has still been unable to find an answer.

Bob Lazar, the man behind the legend of Area 51 as the centre of a massive U.S. Government cover-up surrounding crashed alien spacecraft, has signed a deal with UK based Bluebook Films to bring his unique story to the screen.

Bob Lazar
Bob Lazar

Lazar, who went public in 1988, claimed that he had worked at the Top Secret Groom Lake Test Site, in the Nevada desert on a revolutionary propulsion system for a flying disk. Lazar said that during the course of his work at the base he saw at least nine disk shaped craft in hangars, that had been built into the side of the Papoose Mountain range, and actually saw test flights of some of these craft during both day and night.

S4 disc

His statements sparked off the legend of Area 51 and helped ignite the 1990 UFO boom, the "X Files" and "Independence Day."

Now his extraordinary true story is being turned into a feature film which will, according to Bluebook Films founder Bruce Burgess, will deliver the goods. New never before revealed information about Bob Lazar's story and the secret air base the government still maintains doesn't exist, will be revealed.

No actors are yet attached to the project, but Burgess, who is in the process of commissioning a script, says, "Aside from Roswell, this is definitely the most significant event in this genre. What excites me is that it is a true story. Bob is real. The area 51 site is real. The company who hired him is real. On top of that you have attempts on his life, lost records, attempts to discredit him, and yet not once in over 15 years now, did Bob Lazar change or embellish his story."

Lazar himself says, "Although both Columbia Pictures and New Line Pictures attempted to generate a script on my involvement at Area 51/S4, the result was more like a "James Bond" movie than an actual account of what transpired.

Bruce Burgess (Bluebook films) is the only one to date that is truly making an effort to stick to the facts and not create just another Hollywood fantasy. Going up against the big boys in Hollywood is quite a task... my hat's off to Bruce for the attempt."

Deep in the heart of the Nevada Desert lies one of the most Top Secret military installations in the world.

The Groom Lake Test site, also known as Area 51 or Dreamland has been home to U.S. Black Projects since the mid 1940's. Both the SR71 Blackbird and the Stealth Fighter have been developed and test flown out of this location.

Area 51 - Groom Lake
Area 51 - Groom Lake

Secrecy is at 'ULTRA' status at the site. Despite footage and photographs of Area 51, shot at a great distance and detailed Russian Spy satellite images now available on the net, the U.S. Government denies that the base exists. Why? In the mid eighties, a fascinating story emerged. A man claiming to have worked out at a site designated S4 (part of the Groom Lake Test Site) came forward to tell his remarkable story to local Las Vegas news anchor, George Knapp. The man was Robert S. Lazar.

Bob never claimed to have made contact with, worked with or even seen any aliens at S4. But he did claim to have worked on a revolutionary propulsion system, seen saucer shaped craft in a hangar built into the side of the mountain and witness live trials of a flying disk. His story made headlines around the world, brought hundreds of thousands of people to the desert, spawned a multi-million dollar publishing and merchandising circus and shook a country to the core of its beliefs.

It is worth noting that for nearly 15 years now, Bob Lazar has never tried to embellish his story, and neither the US Military or Government has ever denied it to be true.

Review: Each day, some intrepid travellers visit a remote desert basin in southern Nevada, arriving by automobile, motorcycle, recreational vehicle and, some say, spaceship. The area is so widely regarded as a frequent landing site for alien spacecraft that, in 1996, Governor Miller declared a stretch of U.S. 375 the "Extraterrestrial Highway." The ET Highway passes near what the military calls a "remote test facility" and the public calls "Area 51." Officially, Area 51 didn't exist, never did, but some residents of nearby Rachel, and thousands of people world-wide, beg to differ. For years, curiosity-seekers have sought to learn just what manner of military monkey business occurs there. Are they designing sophisticated new military aircraft? Or are they test-flying reconstructed saucers fallen from the desert sky? Whatever the truth, it has sparked some of Nevada's best stories.

Rachel, the best pit stop along the route, is known for the Little A'le'inn, a mecca for UFO buffs and local watering hole with an extensive menu. The owners say the Alien Burgers are "out of this world." If you're not getting back on the road for a while, try the house drink called "Beam Me Up, Scotty." You'll know you've reached the ET Highway when you start seeing little green road signs. Cruise limit is Warp Speed 7, so take it easy.

Santiago, Southern Chile, May 14. An electrician claims having been abducted by a UFO while travelling by car between two towns in southern Chile. Gabriel Encina, 47, states that the strange experience occurred six years ago, but that the anguish he experienced kept him from disclosing it until now. "No one can keep me from thinking that I was abducted by something or someone. What I saw wasn't an airplane or a flying saucer, it was simply a very bright light that landed on top of my car," said Gabriel Encina in an interview published by "El Diario Austral de Temuco".

Encina notes that he never discussed the subject and that only his wife and close friends knew about it. "I know that others will call me a madman. In spite of the time that's elapsed, I'm still a bit affected by it. Ever since that abduction, I have headaches, migraines and bone trouble," he explained. "I have difficulty sleeping, I'm afraid of dreaming, and when I close my eyes I see that light following me, moving slowly toward me."

Chile, a nation of 15.5 million inhabitants, ranks fifth among the countries having the greatest number of UFO sightings, after the USA, Peru, Brazil and Russia.

Encina recalled that the incident occurred on June 27, 1996 at 20:00 hrs. (24:00 GMT) while travelling between Los Sauces and Angol in the La Araucania region, 608 km to the south of Santiago, under clear skies and the damp weather characteristic of that winter season. "I suddenly saw a very bright white light some 3 meters in diameter which appeared and descended and followed me. I accelerated, but curiously, the car lost speed," he added.

He says that when the light landed on his vehicle, the radiance was so intense that he could make out dust particles floating in the air. "That's when I felt anguished and passed out."

According to Encina, when he awoke, both he and his car were some 12 km. from where the encounter with the alleged UFO took place. "My legs trembled and my head hurt. I was surprised that my wristwatch had stopped at 20:05 hours, although almost an hour had elapsed since the encounter," Encina explained.

In mid-April of 2001, Erasmo Mena, an expert with the Centro Informativo para el Fenomeno OVNI en America Latina (CIFOAL) disclosed the "massive" presence of UFOs between the cities of Angol and Victoria which could be seen by the unaided eye.

Until 1990, Chile experienced over 400 sightings and the country's northern region was the scenario of a number of cases, such as so-called close encounters of the third kind and the abduction of a Chilean army corporal by the crewmembers of alleged flying saucers.

It sounds like a tractor engine idling in the distance and is blamed for problems such as nausea and headaches in some people KOKOMO (Indiana) As many as 90 people in this industrial city of 47,000 in central Indiana have complained about a mysterious, low-frequency noise, known as the 'Kokomo Hum', during the past three years. Disturbed by the complaints, the city council has approved a US$100,000 (S$179,500) study of the mysterious noise, often said to sound like the idling diesel engine of a tractor.

For resident Diane Anton, it all started with a low hum, barely noticeable. But within months, the endless throbbing was like a corkscrew twisting into her temple. The walls of her home vibrated. Her bed shook. Nausea, short-term memory loss and hand tremors followed. 'The noise was so penetrating and invasive,' she said. 'It was just not getting better.' So she quit her job, abandoned her US$180,000 house and fled. She was the first person driven out of the city by what's come to be known as the 'Kokomo Hum'.

Said city attorney Ken Ferries: 'We decided, rather than sit on our duffs and talk about it, let's try to do something.' The city intends to request proposals for the study by the end of the month. Those who suffer from the hum, and have had years to educate themselves on low-frequency sound, say it's about time. They point to scientific evidence that exposure to consistent, low-frequency noise can cause vibroacoustic disease. It's symptoms mirror the complaints in Kokomo - nausea, headaches and dizziness, to name a few.

Unidentified sounds that bother a handful of people have popped up in communities around the world, but because so few are affected, the issue has received little attention. In Taos, New Mexico, a small town in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, some residents were bothered by a mysterious noise in the early 1990s. They described the sound as that of a diesel truck idling in the distance, and said it caused sleeplessness, dizziness and a host of other symptoms. On the Puerto Rican Island of Vieques, people have long complained of health problems caused by low-frequency sound coming from a United States Navy bombing range.

Some in Kokomo claim that the city government knows the noise has an industrial source but believe officials are in cahoots with local industry and refuse to make companies fix the problem. Acoustical engineer Angelo Campanella, who was hired by Ms Anton, detected low-frequency sound in her neighbourhood but said further research would be needed to clearly determine a source. But most Kokomo residents say they are not affected.

Mr. Jeff Smith said aside from coverage of the issue in the newspaper, he doesn't hear much about the hum. 'I don't think it exists,' he said.

Editor's Note: It was just after midnight under a full moon when James saw his first UFO. It not only made him a believer, but he now investigates UFOs himself.

After finishing my afternoon shift (4pm-12midnight) I was travelling the same roads I always use going to and from work. Nothing unusual happened until I topped a hill 2 miles from my house. That's when I noticed a dark triangle just above the tree line almost directly in my path. With the full moon and the lights from our town the object was easily seen. My first thoughts were that someone was out flying one of those motorised hand gliders but then I realised that this object was not moving, it remained stationary. As I neared where I thought the object was at, I checked behind me for any cars. There were none, and I slowed to a complete stop. I rolled my window down and turned to see the this object.

My first reaction when I saw this thing was oh s#*t. Hovering over a pond 20 feet from the road at an altitude of around 75 feet a triangular craft was silently motionless. I almost froze at seeing this craft at such a close range. At arms length the craft was the size of a football. The size of this UFO was around 80x80x80. The UFO had no lights, no identifying emblems, no sound. On what I think was the rear of this UFO there were 4 tanks, estimated size of each was 3 feet. Over each tank there was an umbrella shaped dome. Tube like lines went from the bottom of each tank to different areas of the UFO. The underbelly of the UFO was bubble-like and had a lighter colour than the rest of the craft. The colour of the UFO was shiny and polished, and seemed to reflect the surrounding area. The height of the UFO was around 6 feet.

I watched this craft for 3-4 minutes before I left and went home and told my wife what I had just saw. We got our camera and camcorder and when back to the pond where the UFO was hovering. When we arrived where the UFO had been, it was gone. I called the National UFO Reporting Centre to report my UFO sighting. They returned my call and took all the information. Now I do believe in the existence of UFOs and have been investigating sightings ever since.

Kenneth Arnold, flying businessman of Boise who was first to report sighting flying discs, escaped injury Monday at Pendleton, Oregon when his airplane crashed during takeoff. The Civil Aeronautics Administration's communications station here said that the engine on Arnold's two-place airplane quit while the plane was about thirty feet in the air. The aircraft crashed, bending the landing gear and breaking the main spar in the left wing, the CAA station here said it had been in informed.

The accident took place at 6:00 p.m. while Arnold was taking off for Boise. Arnold was alone in the aircraft, the CAA said. The Boise pilot, who late in June told of seeing nine flying discs between Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams in Washington, was returning form several days spent in Tacoma Washington, where he and Capt. E.J. Smith of United Air Lines investigated another flying disc story. Arnold and Smith said they had given six pieces of metal or lava to Lt. Frank M. Brown and Capt. William Davidson of Army Intelligence, who were to take the material to Hamilton Field, California, for further inspection.

Brown and Davidson were killed when their B-25 twin-engined bomber crashed shortly after taking off from McChord Field on the flight to Hamilton.

Note: Arnold's flight originated in Tacoma, where he and Capt. E.J. Smith of United Air Lines thoroughly inspected his plane before takeoff. Arnold was understandably "more than nervous" since the two CIC agents that he had called to help with his investigation of the "Maury Island Incident" had been killed mysteriously in a "plane crash" just two days earlier.

I was among a dozen witnesses who observed a huge USO in 1977, in the Bermuda triangle in the Caribbean. We were part of a large invasion fleet travelling on a secret mission to invade Panamato take control of the canal for President Carter. The ship was the USS Ponce, an LPD. It cargoed tanks, Mike boats, helicopters and marine landing parties which included myself. We were running completely dark, with no lights on deck whatsoever. There was no moon, but it was clear and you could see a little bit by starlight once your eyes adjusted. We were watching the phosphorescent glow that trailed the edge of ship, caused by certain plankton that light up when disturbed. This effect flickered like low flame, and did not extend far behind the ship before the glow dimmed out. Like an underwater magnetic field, dancing here and there while we watched it.

Then we saw a large blue glow approaching our ship underwater from the stern. As it caught up to us, and began passing underneath, we sat on the fantail and looked right down at it. It was much wider than our ship, and it was pulsing almost like the way embers flicker. It was brighter and a deeper hue than the flickering plankton. My first thought was that maybe it was a submarine, disturbing plankton much like our ship did. Except the plankton effect seems to occur in the trailing edge and wake, not over such a large surface area.

Someone else suggested maybe it was a whale, or a gigantic glowing squid. But one thing for sure, we were all dumbfounded as it passed the ship and continued off to a tangent to our own direction until we lost in the tossing and the waves. The seas were not very high, and the extreme darkness enhanced the experience. It was sort of oval in shape, but being underwater one could not see a definite shape, except that is was about as wide as it was long and that our ship's length was about the size of its diameter.

It then occurred to me that it very well be an underwater UFO. A submarine would leave a much more narrow profile, being longer than wide, as would a whale or squid. It did not emerge from the water, however. Thanks to John Colaw & UFOWisconsin. http://www.ufowisconsin.com

The Dislosure Project

May 28, 2002

In May, 2001 - just one year ago - The Disclosure Project was launched with one of the largest and best-attended press conferences in the history of the National Press Club (NPC) in Washington DC. In the following days, Disclosure Project military and government witnesses to UFO, extraterrestrial and related projects and events had been seen and heard on CNN, CNN World, BBC, The Voice of America, CBS Radio News and countless other media outlets in the US and around the world. Dozens of meetings with members of Congress and their offices occurred, resulting in the greatest wave of education of our national leaders on this important subject in history.

The webcast of the NPC event on May 9, 2001 had over 400,000 people attempting to view it live over the internet - an historic number that puts the event at the top of all internet webcast programs since the internet was created. Astonishingly, over 1 million people have viewed the 2 hour NPC video through our website, www.DisclosureProject.org. This again is an historic number and represents the enormous interest in society for the UFO issue.

Dozens of Campaign for Disclosure events have been organised around the world, and we have addressed tens of thousands of people live in audiences from New York to Vancouver. And in the past year, 119 new military and government witnesses have been identified, many who stand ready to testify at the next Disclosure event.

The Disclosure Project website, www.DisclosureProject.org, has had nearly 10 million hits with up to 800,000 hits on a single day occurring. And we have created a new company, Space Energy Access Systems (www.SEASPower.com) to identify, create, test and prove the existence of new energy and propulsion systems to replace fossil fuels in the coming years.

Leaders in society - top Pentagon officials, Ambassadors, Congressmen, world leaders and others- continue to inquire about the Disclosure Project and we continue to hold important briefings for these and others each month.

Over 100 people have signed on as Disclosure Project Representatives around the world, and we are beginning to organise them into a substantial educational team to get the word out on a local, grass-roots basis. All of this has been accomplished with little to no staff, a very meagre budget - but the most extraordinary dedication of a core of volunteers and funders. Imagine what we could do if we had a significant increase in our resources, funds and volunteers!

So where to from here? In the coming months, we would like to begin filming the dozens of new military and government witnesses to UFO, ET and related events and projects. And in the fall, hold another National Press Club Disclosure event, with new witnesses and even more public awareness. And we urgently need your help.

The out of pocket expenses for filming, editing, travel, NPC expenses, etc. - even while using mostly volunteer labour - will be between $150,000 - $200,000. If each person reading this gave only $25 by the end of June, 2002, we would be able to move to the next level of Disclosure. The courageous witnesses, the dedicated volunteers - and the world - are ready to spring into action and unveil the next level of Disclosure. Please help us by contributing what you can and by getting the word out to everyone you know.

Refer them to the website, www.DisclosureProject.org, get a copy of the National Press Club tape and air it on your local cable access system, or show it at your school, university, business or church. And please, give what you can to Disclosure. The world will not wait another 50 years. Donations may be made on our website at www.DisclosureProject.org, or may be sent to PO Box 265, Crozet, VA 22932. Thanks Dr. Steven Greer

Here are the details of the incident of March 3, 2002. My wife and I were driving back from Bidhan Nagar towards the airport in Calcutta. While driving, my wife's attention was grabbed by a bright white light, fairly low on the horizon in front and to our right. Glancing in the direction she was pointing, I observed an extremely bright light. It was a perfectly clear night, and the clock on the dashboard in my car confirmed it was precisely 7.20 pm. The light was clearly the brightest object in the sky by a factor of many magnitude (say 20X brighter than the brightest star which was visible). Initially I assumed it was the landing lights of an aircraft, but as I continued to drive, I expected the light to diminish as my reference to the aircraft continued to change. I also expected to see the usual red and green blinking lights on the wing tips, but the remarkable thing was that the intensity did not change nor could we see the intermittent red and green lights normally associated with aircraft. I then thought that the object was a helicopter, as it seemed to be just hanging motionless in the air. But with all the car windows down, neither of us could hear any aircraft engine sound. However given the relative position of the light to us, I would have definitely expected to hear some engine and rotor noise had this been a helicopter. I have considered the possibility that I may have just observed natural phenomena such as a star or bright planet. I would be interested to hear from anyone else who may have seen this object or can offer some explanation. Thanks to Wingsmanh1@aol.com

March 2002 http://ufos.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite http://www.anomalies.net/UFO Sighting by software engineer in Goa, March 12, 2002. I wish to inform you of a strange experience that I was involved in. First, let me tell you that until March 12th, I was a total disbeliever in aliens. However on the 12th, in Verna, Goa, on the eve of my departure for Mumbai, I was taking a stroll on a deserted road. It was twilight, and there were no other humans in sight, just some goats grazing in a field. It was then that I saw an amber glow in front of me. I looked up to see what was causing it, and noticed a peculiar cylindrical object hovering above. I cannot say exactly how large it was because I was too confused to take in those details. As I stood in the glow, I felt a rather strange sensation, as if my skin was peeling. However it caused me no bodily harm. Then the object rose higher and moved out of sight. I consulted my watch to note the time, and it said 7:03. However, on returning home, I noticed that the watch was still showing 7:03. I am now in Mumbai and tried taking 2 family members into confidence, but they laughed at me and called my thoughts irrational. I turned to the Internet to research this topic, and within a day, I came across your site. As most people do not listen to what I have to say, it is my sincere hope that you at least will. I think this matter is serious, and if you have any explanation or theory about it, please forward the same to me. Regards,Roger. Sequeira(Note: Roger Sequiera is 31 years old and a software engineer residing in Mumbai) Thanks to Wingsmanh1@aol.com http://ufos.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm http://www.anomalies.net/UFO

On Friday, March 15, 2002, at midnight, the witness reported, "I was outside at work for a break when I saw an object at very low altitude travelling from south to north over the city of Sheboygan," Wisconsin (population 50,792) "I didn't think nothing of it, but I didn't hear a sound, and there was a bright light in front that was shining on the ground in a sweeping motion. It was around midnight, and the light then disappeared." "Then there were three large flashes of light to the east of our building, and the power went out. I called the (Sheboygan) police department, and they stated that the power was out in a six-block area where I work." The mysterious blackout "was more widespread to the north of the city. They had no idea why the power was interrupted."

I then called the Sheboygan County Sheriff's department, and the person there told me that a deputy had spotted the object but could not identify it. The Sheriff's department called the airports in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Sheboygan County, and no one could say if there was a plane in the area. The sheriff's official also told me that they had received several phone calls about the same low-flying object." Sheboygan is on the western shore of Lake Michigan, located approximately 56 miles north of Milwaukee. Thanks to John Hoppe of UFO Wisconsin. http://www.ufowisconsin.com

The news spread like wildfire regarding the fact that in Tabio and Tenjo, communities 40 km. to the Northwest of the Colombian capital, strange phenomena are occurring. The CONTACTO OVNI organisation held a skywatch [in this vicinity] since some of the reports from nearly 300 people who occupy the region adjacent to Peña de Huaica state that strange lights engaged in all kind of manoeuvres are being seen by day and by night. Even the local mayor has witnessed these events and there exists a generalised restlessness over the phenomenon.

Fifteen members of the organisation headed out with both camcorder and still cameras toward the location in question on the night of April 02. For 7 minutes, we captured on video the manoeuvres of a strange orange object which changed shape above the road leading toward Tabio. On the following day, at around 9:15 a.m., we took photographs of Peña de Huaica without noticing anything abnormal. However, upon developing the negatives, we were startled by the fact that the first two photos in the sequence show nothing above mountain, but the third features a circular blue disk. We compared the photos and subsequent analysis at Kodak in Bogotá revealed no anomalies in the film, since the object was in fact there. The negative was enlarged and the metallic disk descending over the hill can be clearly seen. Photos of this sighting can be viewed at www.epagos.com/contacto-ovni at the link "OVNIsen Huaika during 2002". WILLIAM CHAVES ARIZA. Director de Contacto OVNI

A UFO report came in from Andorra, a small European principality nestled in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, mainly known as a getaway place for skiers. An amateur cameraman shot a video taken on April 22, 2002. Specialists from different countries are interested in the phenomenon, which has been classified as an Unidentified Flying Object. The luminous object seen over Andorra on the evening of April 22 has generated interest among some specialists who have examined the material to be presented by an amateur videographer, along with several still photos.

Photograph taken on April 22, 2002 in Andorra.
Photograph taken on April 22, 2002 in Andorra.

Many persons have seen the phenomenon and this newsroom has received reports on the daytime presence of strange lights in the area formed by Escaldes, la Massana and Ordino. The explanation routinely given is that the image shows the planetary alignment. Other explanations given mentioned the possibility of weather balloons, satellites, or the International Space Station.

Jesus Serrano, a resident of Escaldes who has spent many hours clarifying doubts, is the author of the video and a sequence of still photographs, which have been added to others such as the one taken by one of EL PERIODIC's photographers. The young man says that when he first saw the luminous object, he reached for his camcorder and filmed it for approximately one hour.

Both the trajectory of the object, as well as the change in colour and shape, detract from the possibility of the planetary alignment [being the correct explanation]. The possibility of it being a satellite or space station was discarded after checking the time the sighting occurred, as Serrano has explained. Now research is aimed at verifying if France was conducting any type of experiment. The ufologists who have become interested in the case are, among others, Spanish researchers Ramon Navia and Carlos Gutierrez and Argentinean Miguel Angel Gonzales Pombo.

On Thursday May 2nd, 2002, at 7:45 PM, the witness stepped outside on the balcony to watch the sunset in the clear weather. The witness lives near a small airport and frequently sees small aircraft. He observed a triangular shaped craft flying south at an altitude of about one mile and less than one mile away. The witness states: "I could see it clearly, the craft was triangular with rounded corners, dark in colour, didn't reflect any sunlight and made no noise. When first seen, I thought it was a kite drifting on the wind, but it flew smoothly in a large straight line, not erratically like one expects a kite to do. It flew slowly enough that it was in sight for at least two minutes. During this time, it maintained a steady flight path and did not change it's altitude or distance from me. I finally lost sight of it to the north due to the edge of the building that I was in. While I watched this craft, a small Cessna took off from the airport and reached an altitude of about 1500 feet and the engine of this plane was easily heard. I've seen the B-1 Stealth aircraft in flight at distances of a 1000 feet and the craft I saw yesterday evening was a little different. What impressed me most was the rounded corners, total lack of noise, it's shape and it didn't reflect any sunlight from the setting Sun.

I am 40+ years old, college educated, worked many years in the medical field and am currently state certified in public service. In the military, I had flight line clearance, but I have never before seen a craft exactly like this one. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director http://www.ufocenter.com

Friday Mat 10th, 2002, Mexican ufologist Gerardo Sanchez, observed a series of brilliant lights passing over the Cerro de la Estrella (hill) to the east of Mexico City. For the second week in a row, the area continues to be a focal point for UFO activity. Sanchez reported beams of light emitted by these strange objects which illuminated large areas of the eastern horizon. Each unusual ray of light lasted for several seconds. Sanchez also reported that UFO activity over Mexico City has taken place almost nightly since the beginning of May. Mexican ufologists have formed a UFO team and are converging on Cerrode la Estrella with video cameras, sound recording equipment and other equipment to thoroughly document the sightings. The Victorian UFO Research Society (VUFORS) is currently investigating a report made by two police officers in the northern Victorian city. The Sunraysia Daily newspaper reports, Police sighting of UFO in the Sunraysia Daily, on May 18, 2002. "We've just seen a UFO," was the radio call received at the Mildura Police Station during the early hours of yesterday morning. Two officers on a routine patrol through Apex Park were stunned to see a silver shape hovering above the river at 5:00 AM this morning. "Mildura divisional van crew members Kate and Greg were patrolling Apex Park when their jaws dropped at the sight of a very bright lit up UFO hovering over the river," A police spokesperson said. "It appeared the UFO spotted them at the same time as it shot off in the direction of Gol Gol. "They attempted to give chase, but it had gone in the blink of an eye." "One of the officers commented over the air 'we've just seen a UFO' and received the reply. "One of the officers had seen a similar sighting in the same area several months ago that was the source of much mirth and humour among her colleagues," he said.

Pravda reports that on May 20, 2002, several dozens of Perm citizens saw an UFO flying over Energia stadium situated in the centre of the city. One of the witnesses, a former military possessing flying training found difficulty in identifying the object with any known flying devices constructed on the Earth. According to him, the UFO was a three-dimensional body with flat round basis, similar to a reverse tureen. The "tureen" slowly moved over the sky towards south, keeping the same height and speed. The object flew soundlessly, without leaving any glow or air track. According to the observer, the distance from him to the UFO was approximately 400 km, while its diameter was 10 or 15 meters. In five minutes, the object disappeared over the houses in Kommunisticheskaya. Perm is located in central Russia near the Ural Mountains. Thanks to Pravada.

Jim Hickman reports that on May 20, 2002, "TJ" was out on the Quanah Range on Fort Sill earlier tonight, and saw the strangest objects in the sky that he ever saw! TJ reports, "The nature of my job requires that I carry a camera in my vehicle for documenting accidents and incidents on Fort Sill training areas, so I was able to get a picture of the objects." When I got home, I started searching the web trying to figure out who I should report this to, since I'm definitely NOT going to report this to the military authorities. If I did I'd probably end my career real fast. When I came across your website I almost fell out of my chair! The Lawton Triangle picture is almost exactly like the objects I saw, and Lawton is just south of Fort Sill where I saw these objects! Is this bizarre or what? TJ continues, "I was looking west when I first spotted the objects low to the ground behind some tall trees." At first I thought they were the lights from military vehicles. "Then suddenly these lights shot straight up in the sky and just hovered for a minute or so." I just sat there dumbfounded for a moment when it suddenly dawned on me that I should take a picture.

MUFON's Dr Bruce Maccabee's comments on the new photo: "WOW! Got to pull out all the stops on this one! A rare event, two photos of the same (apparently) thing! The numbers of lights at the corners may agree (do agree at two corners) and the shape of the red "car" is as I had predicted (the left and right outlines of the "car" in the Lawton photo would be the actual shapes of the left and right sides of the red UFO image if photographed without camera smear)." Our neighbour knocked on our door about 9:45 on May 24, 2002 9:45PM and I went out to look at the 2 objects he had spotted in the sky. My wife and daughters joined us. The 2 objects were moving slowly and sometimes would change direction. Their colour would change sometimes being a orange-red colour along with their brightness. The police stopped by (neighbour had called). He also admitted the objects looked strange and told us he would call the airport. One of the objects kept getting lower and eventually went below the tree lines. My wife and daughter drove west into Delafield and could see that the objects were further west than that. DATED May 26th 2002
I had a sighting of a triangle with lights on the corners. The one I saw had 2 white lights on each corner and 4 red underneath mounted to a dome and the red lights were spinning. A friend and I were going to the store in Lexington. She was driving.

I saw this object in the sky just above the trees by the side of the road, I told her to slow down. I was up in the dash as we went under it. Then I dived into the back seat and viewed it from the rear window. I was screaming "Turn around! Turn Around!" She pulled into a drive of a vacant house and as she was turning the car I kept watching it as I was returning to the front seat. It was just sitting there, no movement, no sound. Then as we started to move forward toward, it started to leave and I said "punch it", meaning lets follow it. There was no way we could have followed it. I have never seen anything move so fast. We watched it with our mouths wide open as it turned into a small dot in the sky and then went up into the clouds and disappeared. There was a car behind us and to this day, I don't know where it went. No one would believe us.

By the way it was evening just before dusk when my friend and I saw this. It was still plenty daylight. The craft was charcoal in colour and we were so close I could see the seams where it was put together. I know it wasn't man made, nothing on earth can move that fast. I think it was only a few seconds from the time it started to move until it was out of sight. Thanks to Ray Main

In a message dated 5/21/2002 12:53:27 AM Pacific Daylight Time, UFOnews1 writes:

To Q13 TV News Director,
I was baffled by the fact that Q13 actually ran a UFO "news" story the other night, on the 10pm broadcast, and did so without the usual giggles, quips, and obligatory but subtle smirks. Then the questions began to come to me. Why did they run this story, especially when it was old news? How did they happen to get Peter Davenport to just happen to have a map ready showing the locations of the various places from where the sightings were reported? What was really going on here? So my inquiring mind went to work.

What I found, through my network of friends and associates across the country, is that apparently the newscasts on many (if not all) the local FOX affiliates ran "UFO news" stories. We couldn't help but notice the "coincidental" timing between these "out of the blue" UFO "news" stories and the season finale of the X-Files on the same night. So now even more questions arise.

Assuming the "coincidental" timing wasn't merely coincidental at all, but by design, are we mistaken in speculating that now TV show producers are using local news broadcasts to subliminally promote their shows? I say "subliminally" because I didn't notice the Q13 newscasters mentioning the X-Files program during the news report in question. And if this is the case - that the X-Files producers (or someone at the FOX network headquarters) were the motivators behind this - then there had to have been quite an organised effort behind the scenes. Someone had to contact all the local network affiliates and ask them to scurry around trying to find some sort of "UFO news" for the evening broadcast. If that's the case, were the local stations paid to do this? Or, were they in some other way compensated? Or was it simply an "order" which came down to the local stations from FOX network headquarters? Or were the stories already packaged by FOX and delivered to the affiliates? In either case, what does this say about news programming policies? How many other "news" stories on our local stations are "paid for" or "ordered"? And by whom? How far in advance was this prepared? Who knew about it? Who approved it? Questions, questions, questions. At a time when the credibility of mainstream news is being questioned by more and more people, this doesn't look real good, in my opinion, even though most viewers probably didn't give it a second thought.

On the other hand, I must say (ignoring for a moment the possibility of questionable motivations) it was exuberantly refreshing to see such a story actually make the news in such a straight forward and "apparently" responsible manner. It can be done! Too bad it wasn't a more significant sighting. Nevertheless, something is better than nothing; which is what we usually get. There is, as I assume you may know by now, so much more to the UFO phenomenon than the mainstream news media has allowed to be publicised. If you would like to get your hooks onto one of the most intriguing of current UFO stories, give me a call. It involves what has become known as the "Black Triangle" UFO phenomenon: huge black, triangle shaped UFOs cruising silently, slowly, at slightly higher than tree top level over major metropolitan areas. I know about this first hand as I'm a witness to one of these strange unidentified crafts. My affidavit attesting to the details of my sighting was one of several entered into court last year in a case brought against the U.S. Department of Defence in an effort to pry information about these specific "unknowns" from the DoD files. No, I didn't have a camera with me when the event occurred. But I have a full colour illustration of the craft and the surroundings depicting the event as I experienced it. It's available to you (jpg. image, sent by email) if you're interested. This specific type of UFO has been witnessed by credible people all over the world. Something very unusual is in our skies, cruising directly over busy freeways and large populations and no one in the mainstream news media has bothered to cover the story (or, as some suspect, they've been ordered not to cover it). If you're interested in covering this story, I'll be happy to provide you with information I've gathered on the subject and direct you to further sources. Or can you only broadcast UFO stories (without the giggles, quips and smirks) when it's approved by the FOX home office? Admittedly, ufology suffers from its share of fraud and corruption (sounds a bit like our government, doesn't it). But there is good research being done in this field and there is good information available. The government itself established the policy of discrediting the UFO phenomenon many years ago. This policy was put into place by the CIA sponsored "Robertson Panel" (established, 1953). A few years later, the New York Sunday Times (28 Feb., 1960) announced that Vice Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter, former Director of the CIA, was apparently not pleased with this policy. He said, "...through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense." Ironically, while the government was busy making sure its citizens would recognise UFO reports as nonsense, it was at the same time issuing memos to its air base commanders telling them these UFOs "must be rapidly and accurately identified as serious USAF business" (T. Good, Above Top Secret, p.288). This official policy is charged with having bled over into the government's Project Blue Book and beyond, and has snowballed into a social phenomenon of its own. It has become socially correct to giggle at the mention of UFOs and to consider it the province of "nut cakes". Certainly there are a few nut cakes and they're the ones who get all the attention. Thus, it appears to the uneducated that this is the predominant profile. They don't know about the serious, credible, intelligent men and women working behind the scenes doing good research in an attempt to learn more about the phenomenon. They don't know about the normal everyday folks who see these unidentified flying objects and who are often afraid to report the events for fear of being labelled as one of those nut cakes. They don't know that one of those people just might be their own neighbour whom they otherwise consider to be a nice normal person with two kids, a dog and a mortgage.

One way to break this stranglehold on the acceptability of the phenomenon is to bring it out into the open in a serious and responsible manner. This could, and probably should, begin with TV news reporting. Sunday's Q13 UFO news report was a stellar example of how such stories can be covered. TV news is the great "legitimizer". With continued reporting of this calibre, people will begin to understand that UFOs are as much a part of "things going on in the world" as all the other items that get covered in the news. Once this begins to take hold, then the air of ridicule will dissipate and eventually we'll be able to see some serious attention being focused on the issue in the academic circles and, perhaps, even the government will eventually begin to release its still classified UFO documents. The time has come for this to happen.

An unfettered large scale study of the UFO phenomenon may bring great advantages to our society and to the world community. Just opening the subject up to serious research by qualified scientists could possibly lead to peripheral studies and discoveries such as new forms of clean energy in this world now all too dependent upon dwindling oil deposits. Interestingly, the UFO phenomenon reaches into other areas as well, such as anthropology, psychology, sociology, quantum physics, theology and history. It's part of the world in which we live. If nothing else, it may turn out to teach us something about ourselves. Why should it continue to be ignored? FOX could be the leader in this effort. After all, it is the FOX Network, is it not, which reminds us every week that "The Truth Is Out There".

I look forward to your response to the questions and comments in this letter.

Gary Val Tenuta

Hi all,
I would like to speak about my first UFO sighting. I'm living in Genova, Italy since my birth and I was always enchanted by phenomena of nature and other things that occur in our life on this planet. Naturally in my childhood, I was ignorant about UFOs, and spaceships or E.T. were only movies fantasy for me. During (the) years, I started my interest in mystery and strange things by reading books and magazines dedicated to these matters. My knowledge about these topics became larger and my curiosity too. At the age of 18, finally destiny decided to accomplish my desire about UFOs.

It was a beautiful day (afternoon) on July 1970 (I don't remember the exact day) when I was walking on the street facing the sea and the harbour; all of a sudden I saw (a) few people looking at the sky clear and still lit up by the sun. Near the Moon, at his crescent, I saw a bright object like a plane, but without contrail and it moved very slowly from East to West. My first thought was "It' s a plane!" but a doubt grew in my mind. I kept on walking, glancing at this object that continued his track in the sky more and more slowly.

Arriving at my home, I dashed into my bedroom and opened the window. I grabbed my telescope (40x) that my parents gave to me as a gift, and I started to point it towards the mysterious object that, in a sky becoming dark in the summer evening, was still and glowing like a star. But it was not a star, since in the field of (my) telescope, I saw 3 white lights, one on the front and the others in the rear. I estimated the height of object in 30.000 or 35.000 ft. The object was still in the sky like a star. I saw no smoke or vapour, just a perfect triangle. It seemed like a platform suspended in the sky with lights on his corners, but if seen by naked eye it resembled like a brilliant star.

Many years after, surfing on Internet, I saw a picture regarding a UFO flap occurred in Belgium ('89-'90) and - what a surprise - the big dark triangle with lights on the corners was there, like if I should see it again. Currently the flying triangles are common in the UFO sightings, but I saw one of these strange aircraft in the earlier 70's. Later on I had other strange sightings, but this will remain in my mind like an amazing experience and a further question about life in the universe.

My best regards

Claudio Guglieri
